The main purpose is to help clients access existing support services and training in order to achieve their goals and ensure long term positive outcomes.  Not only will you be working directly with clients, you will be recruiting and co-ordinating a bank of volunteers to work with clients on a one to one basis.

The post is part of a partnership project called Stepping Stones to Stability, funded to 2020 by the Big Lottery under its Help Through Crisis Fund.  Stepping Stones to Stability is an ambitious project, led by the South West London Law Centres with Z2K as a partner.  Other organisations partnering in the project include the Katherine Low Settlement in Battersea and The Ace of Clubs in Clapham.  All project partners are committed to combining advice services with addition support services to achieve long term positive outcomes for our clients.  You will play an important role in supporting all partner organisations to demonstrate the benefits of combining advice services with support and wrap around services.

This is a relatively new role and is being advertised as a maternity cover.  The current post holder will be starting her maternity leave in July. Prior to her departure, a strategy and implementation plan will be agreed for the work.  However, there is still scope for the maternity cover to work with the partners to develop these plans and how the project will be delivered.
